We all know that roughly 50% of all marriages end in divorce. However, according to a recent article by Divorce Magazine, high U.S. divorce rates tend to come from 10 major cities. One might assume Texas is somewhere on that list. After all, everything is bigger in Texas — why not divorce, too? But the answers may just shock you a little bit.
Albuquerque, New Mexico, came in No. 1 on their list, followed by these cities:
- Tucson, AZ
- Jacksonville, FL
- Las Vegas, NV
- Miami, FL
- Kansas City, MO
- Louisville/Jefferson County, KY
- Oklahoma City, OK
- New Orleans, LA
