Honoring Excellence in Business Law
Being named Best Business Attorney is a testament to Drew Christman’s dedication to guiding businesses through their legal needs with wisdom, strategy, and care. From helping entrepreneurs bring their visions to life to supporting established companies with contracts, compliance, and litigation, his work is built on the belief that strong businesses foster strong communities.
Drew completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University and graduated cum laude from Regent University School of Law in 1999. In 2009, he founded a law firm where he practiced law with his partners for nine years. In 2018, he parted ways with his then-partners and formed Christman Attorneys, PLLC. In 2023, he and Emily Daniell formed Christman | Daniell Attorneys. Drew began his career as an Assistant Attorney General of Alabama under the Honorable William Pryor (now a U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals judge) from 1999 to 2002. While serving the people of Alabama, he gained extensive experience in constitutional litigation, administrative prosecution, and general civil litigation. Drew also served as a prosecutor in the violent crimes division and public corruption division of the Attorney General’s Office. He was appointed by the Attorney General as general counsel to multiple state boards and agencies, gaining valuable experience in administrative prosecution, defense, and general process.
This experience was further enhanced and broadened over the next seven years in private practice as a civil defense litigator with Gidiere, Hinton, Herndon & Christman, representing some of the largest private corporations and insurance companies in the United States.
Drew has successfully defended multi-million dollar lawsuits involving commercial and residential construction defects, commercial trucking, product liability, civil rights/employment law, medical malpractice, tort litigation, and contract litigation. He has appeared multiple times before the state Supreme Court and has argued four times before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Drew and his wife, Clarissa, have two boys, Justus and Austin, and a lovely daughter-in-law, Reese. Drew is a member of the Texas Land and Title Association, the Family Section, and the Entertainment and Sports Law Section of the Texas State Bar.
Celebrating Our Team
Emily Daniell has long been recognized as one of the premier family law attorneys in Denton and Collin Counties. She is currently the managing partner of Christman | Daniell Attorneys. In addition to managing the firm, Emily also handles our family law cases, representing clients and assisting them with matters such as divorces, modifications, enforcements, adoptions, and other family law-related issues.
Emily’s goal is to tenaciously fight for clients while always taking time to provide compassionate communication and exceptional client service. As a litigator, she is involved in every step of a client’s case—from intake to final trial. During a case, her goal is to listen to and understand the clients’ needs, set goals together, and work diligently to achieve those goals throughout the case.
Emily started her professional career as a teacher, working with students in junior high and elementary school. While teaching, she attended Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (Now Texas A&M) at night to earn her JD and graduated from law school in 2008.
Emily has personal experience with divorce and co-parenting, which gives her a unique perspective while representing clients who are navigating these types of cases.
When not practicing law, Emily loves reading, running, and spending time with her son and dogs, Ellie and Tucker.
