Philip Teissier is an Associate Attorney with Christman | Daniell Attorneys, where he leads the firm’s Criminal Law division. Dedicated to guiding people through life’s most challenging moments, Philip brings compassion, clarity, and in-depth experience to every case he handles.

A proud Texas native, Philip graduated from the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Sam Houston State University in 2009 and his Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law in 2013. Upon passing the bar, Philip began his career in public service, joining the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney.

During his tenure there, Philip prosecuted a broad range of misdemeanor and felony cases—including DWI, assault, family violence, drug offenses, robbery, aggravated assault, white-collar crime, and child abuse. He also served for several years on the Vehicular Crimes Call-Out Team, gaining focused insight into how serious intoxication-related offenses are investigated and tried in Texas courts.

In 2021, Philip and his family relocated to the Dallas–Fort Worth area to raise their children closer to family. He joined the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, where he continued his trial work, litigating multiple murder and violent-crime cases, as well as numerous child-abuse cases. Philip’s depth of experience in this area led to his recognition as a leading authority in child-abuse investigation and litigation. In both 2024 and 2025, he was invited to train prosecutors and law-enforcement professionals at the Crimes Against Children Conference—the largest conference of its kind in the world.

Today, Philip applies that extensive courtroom and investigative experience to defending clients throughout North Texas. His years inside the DA’s office give him rare insight into how prosecutors build—and often fail to prove—their cases. No matter the case, Philip approaches every matter with skill, empathy, and integrity.
