Biography

Drew Christman founded Christman Attorneys, PLLC in 2009 and now serves as the Senior Partner and CEO of Christman | Daniell Attorneys. Under his leadership, the firm has grown into a trusted North Texas practice known for strategic, results-driven representation across a broad range of legal matters. Drew has been voted Best Business Attorney and Best Real Estate Attorney in Denton County for multiple consecutive years.

He is admitted to practice in Texas State courts, Alabama State courts, the United States Federal Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, the United States Federal Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.

Drew began his legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Alabama under the Honorable William “Bill” Pryor, who now serves on the bench of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Drew had the privilege being trained as a young lawyer by Pryor, who, along with Neil Gorsuch, was a front-runner for President Trump’s first Supreme Court appointment.  While serving the people of Alabama, Drew gained extensive experience in constitutional litigation, administrative prosecution, and complex civil litigation. During his tenure, he prosecuted cases in the violent crimes and public corruption divisions and was appointed General Counsel to multiple state boards and agencies, where he handled administrative prosecution, defense, and regulatory matters.

He then spent seven years in private practice with Gidiere, Hinton, Herndon & Christman as a civil litigator, representing some of the nation’s largest corporations and insurance companies, including Travelers Insurance, State Farm, CVS, Best Buy, Yum! Brands, and Hyundai Motor Manufacturing of America. Drew successfully defended multi-million-dollar claims involving construction defect, commercial trucking, product liability, civil rights and employment matters, medical malpractice, tort litigation, and contract disputes. He has appeared multiple times before state supreme courts and has argued four cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

After a decade of practice in Alabama, Drew and his family returned home to Texas in 2009, where he founded Christman Attorneys, PLLC, laying the foundation for what would become a trusted legal presence in the DFW Metroplex.

With high conviction to serve his community, Drew served nine years on the Board of Directors and Executive Board for the nonprofit, Serve Denton, and has held long-standing leadership roles in group mentorship within his community. In addition, he co-owned and emceed the Linger Conference for seven years, helping lead and host a National faith-based conference focused on leadership, worship, and community engagement.  Drew presently serves on the board of the Dallas chapter of Fast Lane International exotic car club—one of the largest exotic car communities in the world.

In 1996, Drew earned his undergraduate degree in Speech Communication (public speaking) from Texas A&M University, where he co-founded the Gamma Chapter of Beta Upsilon Chi, the nation’s largest Christian social fraternity. He graduated cum laude from Regent University School of Law in 1999. Throughout law school, he served as a law clerk for the American Center for Law & Justice, where he was trained by one of the nation’s preeminent constitutional litigators, Jay Sekulow, trial attorney for the President of the United States.

Drew and his wife, Clarissa, have two sons, Justus and Austin, and a daughter-in-law, Reese. Outside of his legal practice, he is an avid enthusiast of high-performance vehicles, motorcycles, and spending time with his wife of 30 years.
